The Pagoda Paris-Maison Loo
An unusual building, this pagoda is the result of the conversion of a townhouse by a man named Ching Tsai Loo in the 1920s. This art dealer wanted to create a tribute to his homeland, whilst remaining rooted in his adopted country, France. The Maison Loo, which was criticised at the time but is now listed as a historic monument, is today a private museum that can be hired for private events.
