Museum of Romantic Life

This museum is housed in the home of the Dutch-born painter Ary Scheffer in the New Athens district. A charming little spot with a tea room, it recreates a harmonious setting evoking the Romantic era, with the ground floor dedicated to Parisian artistic life centred on Ary Scheffer and George Sand.
