Saint-Sulpice Church
Work on the largest church on the Left Bank began in 1646 on foundations dating back to the 12th century and was completed in 1870 with the finishing of the towers on the façade. Particularly not to be missed inside are the paintings by Eugène Delacroix in the Chapel of the Holy Angels. The Church of Saint-Sulpice is one of the Parisian locations featured in “The Da Vinci Code”, the famous novel by Dan Brown.
