Le Passe-Muraille

Created by the actor and artist Jean Marais and unveiled in 1989, this unusual sculpture pays tribute to Marcel Aymé, who lived nearby. This 20th-century writer is the author of the short story “Le passe-muraille”. In it, he tells the story of an office worker, Monsieur Dutilleul, who discovers he has the gift of being able to walk through walls.
