La Caverne du Pont-Neuf

Forty-one years after Christo and his wife Jeanne-Claude wrapped the Pont-Neuf, French artist JR pays tribute to them with “La Caverne du Pont-Neuf”. This monumental immersive artwork—a canvas cave—is a temporary reinterpretation of Paris’s oldest bridge. It contrasts “the raw and the wild with the refined elegance of Paris.” You can walk through this cave for free 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, accompanied by music by Thomas Bangalter, one of the two members of the former duo Daft Punk.
