Through audiovisual archives, photographs, instruments and costumes, this exhibition highlights the political and festive dimension of disco, which was born in the early 70s. A music that has brought different minorities and social classes to the dance floor, all united in a single hedonistic impulse.

With nearly 200 works and objects from his studio on display, the Musée de la Musique-Philharmonie de Paris and the Musée National d'Art Moderne-Centre Georges Pompidou have joined forces to reveal the fundamental role music played in Kandinsky's daily life, his artistic vocation and the evolution of his practice towards abstraction.
